Strata Real Estate Brokerage launched in 2012, followed by Strata.ca in 2017 — the result of a collaboration between a statistician, two developers, and a broker determined to make real estate more transparent.
Tired of the status quo, our priority was to radically improve the customer experience. We did this by opening up access to property data that had historically been kept behind a firewall — and we laid it all out in plain language, free to use.

We feature both condos and freeholds (houses) on Strata.ca. While the word ‘strata’ might bring high-rise condos to mind, the concept goes much deeper. It refers to the layers that make up a community — both the physical homes and the social fabric around them.

Since obtaining his real estate license in 2008, Robert’s goal has been to merge data technology with core customer service values — in an effort to change how people experience the homebuying process.
He spent four years at Re/Max, becoming the #1-ranked agent* at his brokerage before launching his own in 2012. Since then, he’s built a team of like-minded agents working in a collaborative, supportive, and non-competitive environment.
