About Leila Bates

I’ve been a registered real estate professional since 2014 — but in reality, it feels like I’ve been in it my whole life! Picture this: a lively household, about as chaotic as a soccer team in full swing, where dinner table chats often turned into passionate debates about real estate deals and entrepreneurial ideas. That was my childhood! Growing up with an investor mother, I had a front-row seat to the world of real estate. I’d tag along to properties and construction sites, soaking it all in. Little did I know, that’s where I picked up what would later become my A+ social skills and learned the immense value of collaboration and negotiation — skills that have shaped my career from the very start.

Wanting to tap into my creative side, I got into business and advertising, became a project coordinator and graphic designer, where I quickly built up the acumen to handle rapidly shifting trends and to creatively problem solve. These skills translate seamlessly into real estate, where the market is constantly changing, and technology, means of communication, and marketing are constantly evolving.

Having called the GTA home for over three decades, I consider it a trusted friend, rich with diverse shops, parks, and vibrant neighbourhoods. These elements are part of my story, and I love sharing them with others. Now sprinkle in my firsthand experience with both condos and houses, and you’ve got a recipe for success! I blend comprehensive market knowledge with a dash of personality to guide my clients through their real estate journey expertly. After all, the right home is not just a transaction, it’s a lifestyle!

Community service is just as important to me as helping clients find their dream homes. For over a decade, I've volunteered with the Canadian Red Cross, delivering food and smiles to those in need. I’ve also worked on committees to improve volunteer experiences based on measurable outcomes. My advocacy extended to presenting to C-suite executives for the United Way, channelling resources to support nonprofit initiatives. I’m thrilled to have played my part in making a difference.
