The building was constructed in 1983 and resembles traditional condominiums found throughout the city; however, this property has been well-maintained and does not show its age beyond its exterior design.

Given the age of this building, features will vary quite a bit from unit to unit depending on past occupancy, but you can expect to find spacious layouts, large windows, ensuite laundry, and plenty of storage.

    Suites do not have balconies but there's a rooftop patio for barbecuing and enjoying summer days.

    The Neighbourhood

    The Church Street Corridor is a diverse and unique community, affording its residents quick access to the best shopping, nightlife, food and entertainment in downtown Toronto.

    Shoppers beware — don't pick this location if you have an insatiable shopping appetite… seriously. Residents of 77 Carlton Street are minutes from the Eaton Centre, placing hundreds of stores in your backyard. And as if that was not enough, Yorkville up-scale shopping is also within walking distance — Gucci, Kate Spade, Tiffany Co, are all on the table — so shoppers will need some budgeting skills.

    Nightlife is plentiful in the Church Street Corridor, whether you're looking for a quiet watering hole or a bustling nightclub, there's something for you in this community. But the options don't end there, because Yonge Street and its glorious nightlife is only a few blocks west of your building. For live music there is the Phoenix Concert Theatre or the famous Massey Hall, plus several bars that feature local talent.

    Toronto is known nationwide for its restaurants, and some of the best locations are either in your neighbourhood or just outside of it. For burgers, steaks and fine wines, there is The Blake House and the Keg Mansion on Jarvis. For Japanese cuisine, you can walk to Fushimi or Kawa Sushi, or KINKA IZAKAYA for small plates and a festive atmosphere.     77 Carlton Street is well-located for groceries and general convenience; there's a Loblaws and an LCBO on the corner of Church and Carlton for all of your grocery needs. For morning coffee, there's a Tim Hortons one block east on Carlton, and a Starbucks on the corner of Church and Gerrard.

    Transportation

    The Church Street Corridor is a very walkable community, so it should come as no surprise that 77 Carlton has a Walk Score of 96. With a Loblaws viewable as soon as you leave your lobby, you are certainly capable of getting the essentials without relying on public transit or a vehicle.

    Cyclists can use the lanes on Richmond, College and Adelaide to easily get around town. Those relying on the TTC will be pleased to know that they're within walking distance of College Station, making travel to Union Station as easy as can be.

    Drivers have a parking garage to store their vehicles when not in use, and quick commutes to major highways. Head south to Lower Jarvis to access the Gardiner Expressway, and north on Parliament to Bloor for the Don valley Parkway.
