    Additionally, a LEED certification has been granted to 775 King West & 78 Tecumseth.     The Suites

    While some buildings with hundreds of units don’t contain a good amount of range when it comes to size, Minto 775 is quite the opposite. The smallest units in the building start at around 350 square feet, ideal for first-time buyers (anyone not planning to procreate any time soon). On the other end of the spectrum are a few massive units, the largest of which reaches to nearly 2,000 square feet.

    Speaking of large, one of the penthouses at 775 King West & 78 Tecumseth is filled with concrete pillars and wall-to-wall windows, giving it a hint of that coveted soft loft vibe.

    Actually, floor-to-ceiling and/or wall-to-wall windows are frequent fixtures throughout Minto 775 — although that’s not surprising considering all that glass on the exterior). Open concept layouts, 8-10 foot ceilings, and balconies can also be found in most units, although some unique homes boast floating staircases that connect two storeys.

    Besides the penthouses, suites range from studio to two bedrooms. And layout or size aside, each is finished with contemporary details like stainless steel appliances, granite counters in kitchens and marble in bathrooms.

    The Neighbourhood

    Located amidst tree-lined streets of the King West neighbourhood, residents who choose to call 775 King West & 78 Tecumseth truly get to experience the best of both worlds. We say both worlds because just next door is the Fashion District, as well as Queen West, where things get a lot livelier — and stay that way late into the night.

    Residents of Minto 775 even have plenty of green space to explore surrounding their homes. Garrison Common and Coronation Park are both nearby, while Stanley Park, Alexandra Park, and Trinity Bellwoods Park, are all within walking distance as well.

    Shopping isn’t a concern for residents either, thanks to the enormous Loblaws located at the corner of Queen and Portland. As for home furnishings, clothing, and otherwise, Queen West is the place to go for everything from recognizable brands like Gap and Lululemon to independent, one-off boutiques.

    Transportation

    Living right on King Street West is ideal, especially when it comes time to travel to and from the home. Even without a car residents can move about the city with ease thanks to the streetcars that make stops at King and Tecumseth. From there, passengers have the option of riding toward the Yonge-University-Spadina line, where they can transfer onto north and south moving subway trains.

    Drivers (whether making use of the car share or electric charging stations or not) can use King or Bathurst to travel within downtown Toronto, as well as Lake Shore Boulevard or one-way streets like Wellington and Adelaide. Alternatively, longer trips requiring highways will make use of the nearby Gardiner Expressway, which offers connections to the 427 and the Don Valley Parkway.

    Minto 775 is a condo that doesn't get talked about as often as it should. Completed by Minto Developments in 2013, this building is made up of 350 condo units. Some of the building's pros: - Developed by an award-winning developer and builder - LEED Certified building - Good elevator wait times - Low maintenance fees @ $0.54 PSF vs $0.86 PSF in the area - Well-funded reserve fund with good overall financial health - The building offers decent amenities, including a 24-hour concierge, gym, party room, gas BBQs, guest suites & paid visitor parking - Private entrance that's tucked away from King St Some things to consider: - Layouts with interior bedrooms are pretty common in the building - Noise insulation between units and the hallway isn't the greatest
